Four Irish Ladies Over 40 Who SHOULD Be Style Bloggers!

It has been a joy to see so many talented young Irish women achieve success in the blog sphere over the past few years. Most notably, model Pippa O Connor Ormond has achieved wonders owing to her on point style and relatable approach. One question we notice time and time again on bloggers social media pages are queries from more mature ladies asking "What is the cut off age for this", "Am I too old for this" or worse the dreaded "Will I look like mutton dresses as lamb"?

The fact remains style blogs for women over 40 are lacking. There's a market for them without doubt, and a great space for some of our most stylish ladies to jump in and join! We've compiled a list of four Irish ladies over 40 we would love to see sharing their personal style and beauty tips.

Lorraine Keane

Former XPOSE presenter and author Lorraine Keane has been considered one of Ireland's most stylish women for the past two decades. Looking through social media, her personal style is chic, timeless and fashionable (without being a slave to trends). Lorraine is a champion of Irish brands and boutiques and a style blog would be the perfect addition to her successful fashion days out.

Yvonne Connolly

Again, Yvonne has been one of Ireland's most photographed women since her days as a model over twenty years ago. No, longer known for being Ronan Keating's wife, the blonde beauty has branched out into pursuing her culinary talents. No doubt Yvonne could offer a wealth of style tips and perhaps a peek into her gorgeous wardrobe.

Lisa Fitzpatrick

Vivacious blonde Lisa is one of Ireland's best known stylists who has recently taken her knowledge around the country with her sell out fashion factories. Lisa's personal style is very classic, she knows exactly what works for her colouring, body shape and age. Lisa lost a lot of weight and transformed her body meaning she could offer excellent tips to anyone else doing likewise.

Alison Doody

Alison's name may be the most unfamiliar one to you on the list and this is surprising given her credentials. In the 1980s the Irish actress took Hollywood by storm with roles as a Bond girl, she later starred opposite Harrison Ford in Indiana Jones and as the gutsy Charlotte in Irish movie Taffin, co-starring Pierce Brosnan.

Alison walked away from stardom to focus on family life and motherhood, making a return to our screens several years ago in The Clinic. Celebrating her 50th birthday, she remains an impeccably stylish woman who would have endless advice and many a story to tell.
